I'm a second-year student in Information Security Technology at Halic University. Through SoftITo IT Academy, I completed hands-on, in-person training in cybersecurity, networking fundamentals, and digital forensics. In virtual lab environments, I run vulnerability scans, set up security tools, and analyze network traffic. I'm looking for an internship where I can apply what I've learned to real systems and processes.

Projects & Lab Work
Remote Disk Imaging Tool (Group Project)
- Designed the process and workflow logic for a tool that acquires forensically sound disk images from remote Linux systems over SSH.
- Designed the logic for a hash verification step to preserve evidence integrity, and tested it in the lab.
Open-Source Security Platform (Wazuh) Setup and Testing
- Installed Wazuh Manager on Ubuntu Server and Wazuh Agent on Windows within VirtualBox.
- Established agent-manager communication and reviewed incoming logs and security alerts to get hands-on experience with centralized monitoring.
Vulnerability and Service Scanning with Nmap
- Ran Nmap scans from Kali Linux against Metasploitable 2 and Windows 7 target systems; identified open ports and outdated services and reported the associated security risks.
HTTP and HTTPS Traffic Analysis with Wireshark
- Set up an Apache web server in an isolated virtual network and captured both plaintext (HTTP) and encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) packets in Wireshark to observe the security differences between them.
Phishing Awareness Scenario
- Built a mock corporate email and login page with GoPhish in a test environment to study how social engineering attacks targeting users work.
